CEO Message
15 Years of Success Built on 9 Principles
By Raymond J. Faltinsky, CEO & Co-Founder
Dear Friends,
This month FreeLife celebrates its 15th anniversary! Very few companies, no matter the industry, achieve that 15-year milestone. I believe we have been able to achieve this because we have been following 9 core principles since Day 1, back in March 1995. And, we get better at following them every single year. Those principles are:
Principle 1: Develop the most effective, scientifically validated, breakthrough health and wellness products.
Ever since I was 15 years old and my mom was healed of a crippling case of osteoporosis through the use of nutritional supplementation, I have been passionate about the value that good nutrition can play in our lives.
I would go so far as to say that no company I am aware of has the scientific rigor proving the efficacy of its products as FreeLife does. This represents a huge commitment of time and financial resources.
We will continue our ground-breaking research and continue to develop the most cutting-edge, scientifically proven breakthrough health products to dramatically improve your health.
Principle 2: Recognize and reward engaged Marketing Executives better than any other Direct Selling company in the world.
Kevin and I have NEVER seen a plan that pays so much to Leaders who are engaged. To be engaged means you are firing on all cylinders. Your rewards and influence in FreeLife will be directly related to your personal production, your support of your group, and your leadership.
Principle 3: “Walk the Walk” in all we do.
No other principle of leadership is more important. If you want to lead, you must “Walk the Walk” not “Talk the Talk.” Leaders must lead by example. Followers will do as you do, not as you say. You can never ask anyone in your Organization to do something that you are not actually doing.
This is a universal principle of leadership that you can take to the bank.
Principle 4: Believe that service and gratitude are the keys to building a Built- to-Last Company.
I believe we have the greatest mission statement in Direct Selling: “To serve each other by promoting good health, well-being, and the opportunity for an abundant life.” It’s completely service-based.
The second part of Principle 4 can be summed up as: “Focus on the flowers, not on the weeds.” The more you focus on the flowers, the more flowers you bring into your life.
We have built this Company from nothing to an amazing 15-year success story by focusing on the great service we offer people and being grateful for what we have.
Principle 5: Live the Golden Rule with our Team Members, Customers, and Marketing Executives.
This is such a simple rule, yet so powerful. Treat others the way you want to be treated. You can see this in everything we do. Our Compensation Plan is one example: Kevin and I created this to reward you just like we would like to be rewarded if we were Marketing Executives in the field.
Our incentive trips are another example of living the Golden Rule. We take our Leaders to the most exotic locations in the world, including our upcoming Top 50 Leadership Retreat to Punta Mita, Mexico. This will be the best trip we have ever had!
Principle 6: Commit to listening and developing trust with our Leaders.
Trust is our most important product. We do our best to foster this environment of trust with both our Corporate Team and our engaged field Leaders. We are open and honest in our communication. We have genuine respect and admiration for everyone on the FreeLife Team.
Principle 7: Offer our Marketing Executives ongoing training and support to become the very best Leaders they can be.
We invest in numerous ongoing recognition and training events, including Road to Royal, Leadership Summit, Leadership Retreats, and Convention. We have a phenomenal Sales Team to help you reach your goals. We have product training from Rick Handel, conference calls, webinars, back-office training, etc., etc., etc.
Principle 8: Give back to children around the world who are less fortunate through our GojiKids charitable giving program.
Based on your hard work, we have given to well over 100 different childrens charities around the world. Thousands of children in need have benefited because of you!
Principle 9: Practice Constant and Never-Ending Improvement (CANI) in all areas of our Company.
This principle applies in every single thing we do every day.
These 9 guiding principles represent the core philosophy of this Company. They guide us in every decision we make and will be instrumental as we move forward for the next 15 years in our Company history.
Sincerely,

Raymond J. Faltinsky
